St. Louis is an important city to us.
We went to school here. We fell in love here.
Things to Eat
Barbecue
Bogart’s - our favorite
Pappy’s - widely considered the best
Sugarfire
Salt + Smoke
On the Casual Side
U City Grill - cash only, low key Korean food. Between 2011 and 2014 you could find Tomer here 5 times a week.
Cafe Osage - breakfast/greenhouse/cute wares/generally one of our favorite places.
Blues City Deli - fire sandwiches
Gioia’s - also fire sandwiches
Half & Half - recreate our first brunch date by coming here and over-ordering.
Kayak’s - come for coffee, a casual wrap or sandwich, and one of the best gooey butter cakes in town (an STL classic).
Union Loafers - bread and pizza
Winslow’s Table - An exceptional goat cheese cookie. Honestly overrated but people like it here a lot.
John Donut - only open 11pm to 11am lol.
Less Casual
Olio - in our humble opinion the best restaurant in St. Louis.
Taste - good vibes, good food, and very good drinks.
Brasserie - Annie says it’s good so let’s trust her.
***Pictures here are from our self guided taco tour in Santa Barbara so don’t get too excited about tacos in STL.
Things to Do
Forrest Park - good for a walk or Lime Scooter around. It’s beautiful and twice as big as Central Park. It’s also Annie’s all time favorite place for a fitness walk.
Wash U Campus - if you’re interested, it’s pretty nice!
Lumiere - the casino where Tomer would be all weekend if he weren’t otherwise occupied.
SLAM - the St. Louis Art Museum (free!) is in Forest Park.
Botanical Gardens - for the botanists and plant lovers.
Breweries - We’ll be at one Saturday night but there are a lot! We like 4 Hands but a lot of new ones we haven’t tried are open now.
Ballpark Village - Awesome spot to watch sports or ride a mechanical bull.
